A HART bus driver was cited after a weekend crash at a Tampa intersection caused a police cruiser to flip over, according to the Tampa Police Department. A HART bus driver has been cited for failure to obey a traffic control signal following a weekend crash at a Tampa intersection that caused a police cruiser to flip over. The crash occurred at North 34th Street and East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The bus entered the intersection against a red light and hit a Tampa police vehicle, which had the right-of-way. The police vehicle also hit a Dodge Charger, which was pushed onto the east sidewalk and into a low brick border wall. No serious injuries were reported. The driver of the Dodge Chargers was treated at the scene for a minor leg injury.
