SEFFNER, Fla. — Hillsborough County firefighters worked to put out a blaze that broke out Monday afternoon at a metal recycling center in Seffner.
Dispatchers received several 911 calls at 4:17 p.m. from workers at Trademark Metals Recycling on US Highway 92. They said a large pile of scrap metal was on fire.
Crews arrived to find that the fire was isolated, and no structures were at risk. They got the fire under control within about 30 minutes.
No one was injured, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
