Curious what the hottest restaurant in Tampa is? Well, on OpenTable these three Tampa restaurants are regularly having prime reservations scooped up. The reservation app just released its list of the 10 most booked restaurants in Tampa, and the Top 3 may not surprise you.

Coming in first is The Columbia Restaurant in historic Ybor City, which is located at 2117 E 7th Ave. They also have a hub at the Tampa Bay History Center downtown that is well worth a visit. This family-owned gem has served the community since 1905. It’s famous for its tableside paella experience, its Cuban sandwich, and the 1905 salad.

One of the oldest restaurants in all of Florida

In addition to being a quintessential Tampa restaurant, the interior is also stunning. When you visit, your phone eats first. “All 52,000 square feet of the space smells of baking bread, garlic, and spices,” writes Andrew Schrader for Southern Living. “…it’s more like a magical foodie castle, covered in Spanish tiles, where everyone is invited to the feast.”

Unsurprisingly another Gonzmart restaurant ranks second. Ulele in Tampa Heights at 1810 N Highland Ave. This spot is famous for its beer, Tampa-inspired cocktails, and always fresh menu selection. The seafood Risotto and charbroiled oysters are major crowdpleasers, too.

The restaurant is surrounded by preserved fairytale creatures that were rescued and restored by Richard Gonzmart. The front lawn also features a Bronze bust of Ulele, a Native American princess featured in the book Uleyli: The Princess & Pirate- The True Story of Florida’s Pocahontas.

Coming in at number 3 is Bern’s Steak House (1208 S Howard Ave), the restaurant famed for its massive wine cellar and adjoining dessert room. It’s said to provide some of the best service in Tampa and seems to be a must-visit restaurant for all visitors coming to the region.
