Bay Area first responders host family fun day at Raymond James Stadium
Local emergency crews welcomed children and families to Raymond James Stadium on Sunday for the fourth annual First Responders Family Fun Day, bridging the gap between neighborhood youth and community personnel. The fourth annual First Responders Family Fun Day took place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay. Local emergency crews from multiple agencies set up interactive displays across the stadium grounds to give children direct access to service equipment. The event also featured a firefighter obstacle course and a helicopter display. Organizers structured the event to provide casual, positive interactions before high-stress 911 calls occur. The Tampa Police Department joined the participants to offer expanded access to area families. The free event was established four years ago to foster local partnerships.
