The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) responded to a reported sex offense at the mall shortly after 6 p.m. last Tuesday. During the investigation, deputies learned that Christopher Anderson, a convicted felon, had put his hand down the victim's pants and touched her inappropriately. The victim was hiding in a women's restroom, where Anderson allegedly entered multiple times and approached the victim. Anderson was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon as a convicted felon and six counts of violation of probation.
