What drives you to succeed? My drive to succeed stems from a mix of passion, purpose and a desire to empower others. My passion lies in innovation and its ability to create positive change. Witnessing the impact technology can have on communities, especially underserved ones, fuels my fire. I believe in the power of collective success. When I elevate others, I elevate myself and the entire community around me. This interwoven tapestry of passion, purpose and empowerment is what truly drives me, but in the grand scheme of things, I want to leave a legacy that my kids can be proud of.

What advice would you give young women just starting out their careers? Surround yourself with champions both personally and professionally. Build a network of supportive mentors, sponsors and friends who believe in you. They'll be your cheerleaders, contribute to your growth and hold you accountable when you need it.

Also, as you ascend, remember to reach back by mentoring others, creating a powerful ripple of success and inclusivity. Lastly, be intentional about being in spaces and doing things that truly bring you joy.

What do you do for fun or to relax? Hands down, spending time with family is essential to me in recharging my personal "battery." We laugh, make new memories, debate current events and compete over the silliest things, like who cooks the best (of course me).

I also enjoy volunteering my time and skills to organizations I care about — it's a great way to connect with my community and allows me to make a difference outside of the corporate world.

What are your goals (personal and/or professional) for the next year? Over the next year, I aim to continue taking on new challenges within my company and dedicate more time to self-care, including prioritizing my well-being and pursuing new hobbies like pickleball or golf. Lastly, I want to see how I can personally connect and encourage underserved communities to learn more about opportunities associated with artificial intelligence.

What is your favorite place in Tampa Bay? The Woodson African American Museum of Florida in St. Petersburg is one of my favorite places in Tampa Bay. I absolutely love the exhibits and events; it's a place where I learn, reflect and connect.
