Grading Each Panthers' Position Group in Carolina's Blowout Loss to Buccaneers
Do any position groups deserve a passing grade for their performance in a blowout loss? Carolina Panthers suffered a humiliating loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, allowing at least 250 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. The team's performance was described as inexcusable, with Baker Mayfield only completing seven passes and the Buccaneers scoring 43 points. Bryce Young also had his worst game of the season, marking his first game with multiple interceptions and his first with fewer than 200 passing yards. Darren Waller led the Panthers in receiving yards, while Mitchell Evans added two catches for 39 yards. The defensive performance was poor, with Taylor Moton playing well before being injured and Monroe Freeling playing poorly in his place. The Buccaneers' offensive line pushed the Panthers' front around all day.
