A 28-year-old Tampa man is accused of groping a woman inside the University Mall restroom and repeatedly approaching her as she tried to hide, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. Christopher Anderson, a 28-year-old Tampa man, is accused of groping a woman in the University Mall restroom, where he allegedly put his hand down the victim's pants and touched her genitals. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office responded to the mall for a reported sex offense and identified Anderson as a registered sex offender who was actively serving probation at the time of the attack. The arrest triggered numerous compliance violations related to Anderson's supervisory terms and online registry requirements, including possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony and failure to register email addresses or internet identifiers.
