PALMETTO, Fla. — A crash involving a semi-truck happened early Friday morning in Palmetto near the intersection with Piney Point Road.
According to the Florida Department of Transportation's website, the crash was fatal. Video from Sky10 appears to show the semi-truck with fire damage.
The Southbound lanes have been shut down as law enforcement works to clear the scene.
Little information is known about the cause and the casualties of the crash.
