The front will push through the area, allowing for a brief period of clouding and a gusty afternoon with winds of up to 20-30 mph. Despite this, temperatures will remain warm throughout the day, with overnight temperatures expected to reach mid-50s and mid-70s. The weather should continue to be pleasant for Easter Weekend, with temperatures rising quickly into the mid-upper 70s and low humidity expected to continue throughout the week. The next rain chances won't arrive until next week with another cold front.

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Watch for a few passing showers this morning as a cold front pushes south through the Tampa Bay area. The rain should end by mid-morning.

Behind the front, clouds clear out quickly as less humid air arrives. It will be gusty with a northwest at 20-30 mph. Highs stay in the mid 70s this afternoon, and it gets chilly quickly after sunset.

Overnight lows will be in the mid 50s, so you may need a jacket when you head out door tomorrow morning.

With full sunshine tomorrow, we warm up quickly into the mid-upper 70s. We have a long stretch of sunny days with low humidity that continues into early next week.

It should be great weather for Easter Weekend. Just a slight chill in the morning, but we warm up fast each afternoon.

Our next rain chances don’t arrive until Wednesday and Thursday of next week with another cold front.
